The Culinary Institute of America (CIA), San Antonio, hosted its second annual Latin Cuisine Summit on October 27–28, 2016.

The Latin Cuisine Summit—Arriba el Sur, was a two-day conference to provide educational programming for industry professionals. The intensive educational summit focused on the culinary heritage and contributions of the southern region of South America known as the el Sur, comprised of Chile and Argentina. This included an incredible collection of renowned chefs, restaurateurs, wine makers, prestigious sommeliers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
